About the Role

 

KITSCH is currently looking for a motivated and talented EDI Analyst to provide production support and coordinate new EDI implementations. He/She will monitor EDI Systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with the Order Management Team and the Warehouse to maintain uninterrupted Daily Business Processes.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

  • EDI Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor EDI communications to ensure uninterrupted data exchange with partners. Utilize the EDI application dashboard and reports to assess overall system health. Process and track all inbound and outbound EDI transactions daily.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and track EDI-related issues, collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve timely resolution. Manage daily EDI production support alongside Trading Partners, the Order Management Team, and Warehouses.
  • Partner Onboarding and Testing: Coordinate the setup of new EDI trading partners and document implementations. Assist with EDI testing, including data setup and document testing with trading partners.
  • System and Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to systems and business processes to optimize EDI efficiency. Maintain comprehensive documentation and process flowcharts for all EDI operations. Assist in the design and upkeep of Vantage Point Application triggers using SQL queries.
  • Account Management and Communication: Manage aspects of account setup, including generating web users and EDI, BOL, and carrier account numbers. Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to manage and resolve billing and rate discrepancies. Cultivate strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Transportation and Logistics Support: Execute daily transportation requirements, including tracking and scheduling shipments and providing status updates to internal teams and clients. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance cost efficiency by analyzing client shipment data. Manage and resolve daily carrier service issues, failures, and delays.
  • Customer Service: Perform critical customer service duties, including daily interaction with assigned clients, order creation, expediting, load tendering to LTL and TL carriers, and managing event exceptions.
  • Logistics Operations Management: Coordinate and oversee all facets of logistics operations, encompassing demand planning, order picking, packaging, and distribution. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to guarantee the prompt and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Inventory and Warehouse Optimization: Manage inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements pertaining to the transportation, storage, and handling of goods.
 

What are we looking for in you?

  • Education
    • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in Transportation Industry or Logistics field
    • 1+ year of experience in Customer Service or related field
    • EDI Experience.
    • Preferred: Experience in Warehouse Distribution, Order Picking and Buying.
  • Required Skills
    • Expertise in analyzing written materials and quantitative data to interpret findings and develop actionable recommendations
    • Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
    • Knowledge of Operations Management Principles and Practices
    • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
    • Proficiency using Logistics Software Systems to Track Shipments, Inventory and Orders
    • MS Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Desired Skills
    • Experience with EDI documents in retail industry such as 850 / 856 / 810 / 940 / 945
