We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Director of Merchandising, Social Commerce to lead the next era of growth across our fastest-moving channels: TikTok Shop, Meta Shops, and Shopify.

This role is equal parts creative merchandising instinct and performance powerhouse — owning channel strategy, leading a team of merchandisers, and using testing + analytics to unlock the next level of conversion, revenue, and customer obsession.

As Director of Merchandising, Social Commerce, you’ll own how Kitsch shows up — and sells — across social-first commerce platforms. You’ll build the merchandising roadmap, optimize assortments, and create shopping experiences that feel as effortless, exciting, and irresistible as our brand.

What will be your responsibilities?

Lead Social Commerce Merchandising Strategy
  • Own end-to-end merchandising across: TikTok Shop, Facebook + Instagram Shop, and Shopify storefront + channel extensions.
  • Build product discovery experiences that convert — from viral hero SKUs to bundles, drops, and seasonal must-haves.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing to align merchandising with paid social and creator-driven strategy.
  • Keep launches and promos running smoothly — no surprises, just results.

Ensure Operational Excellence Across Systems

  • Partner with Ops, Planning, and Finance to align assortment and inventory across channels.
  • Support clean execution between Shopify + NetSuite, ensuring product setup, forecasting, and reporting accuracy.
Drive Insights Through Data & Analytics
  • Use platforms like Daasity and Looker to track performance and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that connect merchandising decisions to revenue impact.
  • Monitor daily channel trends, spot what’s working, and move quickly.
Own Testing & Conversion Optimization
  • Build a structured A/B testing roadmap across social commerce and site merchandising.
  • Test product positioning, bundles, offers, messaging, creative hooks, and channel mechanics.
  • Turn insights into action — improving:
    • Conversion Rate (CVR)
    • Average Order Value (AOV)
    • Revenue per visitor
    • Product attach + repeat purchase behavior
Manage & Scale a High-Performing Team
  • Lead and develop a team of channel merchandisers focused on TikTok and social commerce execution.
  • Set clear KPIs, performance goals, and channel-level growth strategies.
  • Create scalable workflows that keep us fast, focused, and always optimizing.

What are we looking for in you?

  • 8–10+ years in US eCommerce merchandising, with deep experience in high-growth DTC.
  • High level of English (C1)
  • Proven success scaling TikTok Shop and social commerce channels.
  • Strong people leadership — you know how to build and inspire teams.
  • Expert-level understanding of merchandising + conversion optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Shopify Plus + multi-channel commerce.
    • TikTok Shop Seller Center.
    • Meta Commerce Manager.
    • NetSuite ERP.
    • Daasity + Looker (or similar BI tools).
