About the Role:
KITSCH is seeking a Wholesale Sales Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has deep retail and channel data fluency, hands-on experience with SPS Commerce Analytics, and strong cross-functional communication skills. You will be responsible for building the analytics infrastructure that drives smarter, faster decisions across our wholesale channel — covering sell-through reporting, bottoms-up forecasting, and retailer-level inventory planning for key partners including Ulta and Target. Candidates should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain account-level sell-through dashboards and performance scorecards for top wholesale partners.
- Leverage SPS Commerce Analytics to unify omnichannel data across retail partners and surface actionable insights.
- Monitor and report on weeks-of-supply, in-stock rates, and inventory health across all active wholesale accounts.
- Deliver consistent, accurate reporting with a target of 90% or greater on-time delivery across all accounts within the first 12 months.
Forecasting & Inventory Planning
- Develop bottoms-up forecasting models grounded in POS data, weeks-of-supply analysis, and seasonal trends.
- Establish a weekly inventory build suggestion process to support timely, data-backed replenishment decisions.
- Partner with the Wholesale Demand Planner to align forecasts with supply chain and operations planning.
- Drive a target of 15% or greater improvement in forecasting accuracy within the first 12 months.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead quarterly business reviews with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Identify incremental revenue opportunities through in-depth retailer account analysis and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Sales and Merchandising to ensure data insights are translated into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support new retailer onboarding by establishing baseline reporting and forecasting frameworks from day one.
Core Competencies and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in wholesale analytics, retail planning, or channel data analysis. Consumer goods or beauty industry experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SPS Commerce Analytics or comparable retail data and EDI platforms.
- Strong proficiency in POS data analysis, sell-through reporting, and weeks-of-supply modeling.
- Experience building bottoms-up forecasting models and translating data into inventory recommendations.
- Familiarity with key wholesale retail partners such as Ulta, Target, or similar mass and specialty retailers.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. You do not let reporting deadlines slip.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can present complex data clearly to non-analytical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
